The Three Pillars of Information Security
Information security at The University of Copenhagen is built on the internationally established principles of information security DS/ISO/IEC 27001:2013. The three pillars being:
- Confidentiality

ensures that informationassets are functioning correctly and that data are correct and complete. - Availability

Other properties covered by the information security, are authenticity (that an entity is what it claims to be), accountability, non-repudiation (the ability to prove the existence of an alleged event or action and underlying entities) and reliability (consistent intended behaviour and results).
