Protection of information privacy
The University of Copenhagen treats information about a large number of students, staff, test subjects, patients and others every day. The university therefore follows the Data protection legislation, which is to ensure that personal data are not abused, and that the persons whose data is being treated know who treats the data - and for what purpose.
Advice
Copenhagen has a Data Protection Officer (DPO), who advises employees and students about legislation and rules for data protection. The DPO can be contacted via email at dpo@adm.ku.dk.
